A part matte painting concept I did for my Advanced Perspective Final. I'll keep tinkering with this one and some others later when I feel the need to polish it up a bit. The main setting of "Core Shadow".
woh, this is pretty cool man. my main crit is a photoshop issue - try usin mure clipping masks when drawin the buildings. it saves time and massive amounts of sanity hahaha. plus it makes things looka lot cleaner.
Impressive! I just finished the perspective class at AAU and it's good to know there's an advance perspective class because I feel I still have so much to learn.
It's a fantastic class with a different focus than regular foundation perspective. It's much more about production art and illustrations rather than simple exercises. You are also free to us any media and style that you want! I recommend it towards your last few semesters since it's quite a large workload per week, where you are on average required to do 3 paintings or drawings per week. I highly recommend it though, specially if you can take it on site with Joko Budiono!
Wow, 3 drawings or painting? Man, I had trouble with one a week. I'm going to take it later on regardless. I hope I can get a little faster and used to deadlines by then.
